STORE STAFF

David Green, Owner
Email: David@PrimexGardenCenter.com

The grandson of Bill Green, founder of Primex, David began working at the store when he was a teen. In 1972, young David was given his official ‘job’ in the warehouse. From this position, he worked his way through the ranks from warehouse manager to purchasing alongside his father and grandfather in 1976. In 1984, he became part owner and sole proprietor in 1991.

Even though David owns the business, he prides himself on working hands-on, side-by-side with his employees, customers and community. Proud to be a part of many expansions in the business since his ownership, David attributes this growth to loyal staff members & customers as well as community support. He believes that these relationships have been built from generation to generation…both personally and professionally.

Throughout the year, David attends numerous trade shows to find the outstanding product mix Primex has been known for over the last 60 years.

Joan, Owner

In 1975, Joan started as a sales person and display designer. Today, she is an owner in the business with a specialty in plant diagnosis and turf maintenance. She can also help you develop a healthy lawn by pointing out the right soil amendments, seed and maintenance practices you should perform for your individual site and conditions. Joan also purchases all of the flower and vegetable seeds and still assists with store displays.
